Jay-Z has more money and more talent than anyone, ever. He also never graduated high school and dealt crack cocaine. But somehow the man has risen farther than what his environment predicted for him, transforming himself from high school dropout to rapper, icon, and mogul of the music industry. To give back to the children of low income neighborhoods and ensure they find higher education, Jay will be performing two concerts at Carnegie Hall to benefit United Way of New York City and the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation. The shows will take place on February 6th and 7th and private premium tickets will be available for purchase on December 12th, running from $500 – $100,000. Limited public tickets will go on sale at 11:00 am on January 30th. This will be THE concert of the new year.
