Six months after a 2010 toxic spill in Ajka, Hungary, Spanish photographer Palindromo Meszaros decided to capture the indelible aftermath resulting in his series, The Line. The remnants of the spill, which included nine fatalities and massive amounts of damage, feature a ghost town marked by a rust-colored line reaching two meters high. To view his work in such stark reality hits home the endless, irreparable void created by man. Visit Meszaros’ website for the complete series.
